From apprentice to team leader
Pablo looks back on 17 years in the lighting industry. His career began with an apprenticeship as an electrician, underlining his early enthusiasm for technology. At the same time, he broadened his knowledge in the areas of sales and communication. Today, he heads the team in western Switzerland and brings his passion for lighting to life at XAL.
Day-to-day work as a Lighting Consultant
The world of lighting is multifaceted and constantly evolving – this is exactly what fascinates Pablo, as well as the process of turning ideas and sketches into real projects and working closely with architects and lighting specialists. Regular dialogue within the team and with external partners not only makes his day-to-day work as a field service lighting consultant varied, but also inspires him time and again to develop new, innovative lighting solutions.

His time as a football player and coach has shown Pablo what is important in a team: team spirit, passion and dedication. “These principles are able to shape everything”, he says. Today, Pablo brings precisely this attitude to his role as Branch Manager in Lausanne. He believes that common goals can only be achieved if every single one of the team takes responsibility and they all pull together. He attaches great importance to a positive and motivating working atmosphere as this is the basis for successfully overcoming challenges.
