A career in light
Yannick’s journey into the lighting industry began during his apprenticeship in electrical wholesale. The combination of technology, design, and creative opportunities fascinated him from the very beginning. Today, he is an integral part of the XAL team in Stuttgart, contributing his experience across a wide range of tasks, from preparing quotations and coordinating projects to organizing the showroom. What drives him? The diversity of his daily work, collaborating with a strong team, and the opportunity to use light not only to create illumination, but also atmosphere, functionality, and personality.
Every day brings something new
Yannick's daily work is diverse and dynamic. He prepares quotations, coordinates orders, reviews plans, and organizes appointments in the showroom. Close collaboration with customers and colleagues is an integral part of his role. The fact that no two days are the same is exactly what excites him about his job.

Product highlight
Yannick’s favorite product in the XAL portfolio is UNICO. This downlight can be individually configured to meet any requirements, with different shapes, light inserts, color temperatures, as well as mounting and control options. What emerges from this system is a precise lighting solution that flexibly adapts to both space and task. Yannick is truly impressed by UNICO’s almost unlimited range of applications.
Highlight moment
For Yannick, the Light + Building trade fair in Frankfurt was a true highlight at XAL. The inspiring atmosphere, engaging conversations with customers and partners, and the exchange of new ideas made the event a special experience. He was particularly impressed by the sustainable and innovative exhibition stand, a visual statement for responsible design and resource conservation. It was a moment that not only sparked excitement, but also genuine pride in the team and the XAL brand.
