The power of atmosphere

Located in the heart of Munich, the New Health Society Studio brings together personal training, contemporary design, and a holistic health concept under one roof. Its warm, dynamically adjustable lighting creates a motivating training atmosphere that purposefully enhances members’ wellbeing. The lighting integrates seamlessly into the clean architectural design without drawing attention to itself. It provides orientation, creates atmosphere, and activates where needed. The result is a holistic spatial experience in which light, function, and aesthetics are in harmony.

Light in balance with space and movement

In the entrance area, the special lighting concept with TULA sets the bar in the spotlight and creates an inviting atmosphere. In addition, the simple track system in combination with the flexible, adjustable BO55 spotlights provides functional and harmonious illumination for the entire area. The corridor areas are illuminated with SASSO. MITA and VELA ensure uniform illumination in the training area and changing rooms. They are used specifically in sensitive areas such as the free weights area to ensure glare-free lighting and thus support concentrated and safe training, even in lying positions.

Healthy light for healthy movement

The lighting concept is aligned with the human biorhythm and is tailored to the functional zones of the space. Activating light colours with increased blue content boost performance in training areas and support concentration in changing rooms. In relaxation zones such as the lounge or bar, subdued warm lighting promotes calm and wellbeing—ideal for arriving or recovering after a workout. The result is a thoughtfully designed lighting landscape that supports the diverse needs of body and mind throughout every training phase.

Clear design meets functional aesthetics

The studio’s modern design promotes clear spatial guidance. The interior features light colours combined with wood and an open layout. Functional zoning ensures efficient use of space and aids orientation. A warm beige tone defines the women’s area, while a deep anthracite marks the men’s zone. Communal areas are characterised by a light blue tone, which is also reflected in the lighting concept.

"For us, light is more than just a means to an end. It structures space, directs attention, influences well-being – and ultimately determines the quality of a place."
