LED - Luminous flux degradation

The same applies to luminous flux degradation of the LEDs, as to the shift in colour point. The higher current supply and temperature, the greater the negative influence. XAL only uses LEDs for its luminaires, which have a minimum luminous flux degradation in the test reports. Good thermal management ensures a drop in luminous flux to a minimum of 70 %, 80 % or 90 % after 50,000 h. A data sheet specification of L90 refers to the remaining luminous flux (L) of ≥ 90 % with a service life of 50,000 h.
