DALI Lighting Control

The DALI (DIGITAL ADDRESSABLE LIGHTING INTERFACE) control protocol is a standard for the control of lighting devices in building automation. A two-wire control cable is all that is required for installation, which can also be run alongside the supply voltage in a five-core cable. The maximum cable length is 300 metres, with a cable cross-section of 1.5 mm². In total, up to 64 addresses and/or 16 groups or 16 lighting settings can be controlled per DALI line.
